I had never intended to sale this buck's sire, Jack, but I loved this son of his so much that I did. Fairbanks is extremely long bodied, very angular and dairy. He stands on correct feet and legs, and is wide and deep throughout. We know that the combination of Baywatch and Kingwood is a winner. When shown for the first time, he won grand champion under both judges. They both said that he exemplified what we should all be breeding for: excellent feet and legs, skin, body capacity, front end assembly. They thought he was the son of our buck, MCH/PGCH CHW DH Born To Be Wild, and compared them to each other. They said they were very similar. This was the show where BB won his final MCH leg and also best buck in show. Then when Fairbanks was shown for the first time as a senior buck, just a month into the first class, he won grand champion senior buck under Sandi Liska. And as she said when announcing her choice, she never picks a buck that young as her champion. She said, "I'm going to do something that I never do." There are eight finished champions in Fairbanks immediate pedigree and six does with their milking stars. He is a pretty friendly buck. See his sire on the Reference Bucks Page and his dam on the Reference Does Page 1

***All our Fairbanks kids have been sold. We had Cherry, Brandy and Sera shut up with him for Dec/Jan kiddings. I hope we get a few kids. They were only shut up with him for maybe three weeks.

Nine passed away just short of 13 years old. He had very nice width, depth of body, and dairy character. He had incredibly loose, pliable, dairy skin with lots of wrinkles. Nine also had incredible length of body and a level, uphill topline. He did toe out slightly in front, but he had a very nice rear leg set with very nice width between the hocks. At the 2002 TCC Mini Mania, he placed second to PGCH Green Gate Talcum X and the judge said it was a very close placing between the two, that they were very similar bucks. We stopped showing Nine due to his terrible odor. He smelled so much stronger than any other buck, that we couldn't stand to handle him that much.

We bottle fed this boy and have completely fallen in love with him. He was the auction buck at the national show and Aaron won him. The first goat he has ever bought. He's even bottle fed him a few times.  I have long admired Rusty's herd and am very glad to be bringing in his genetics. He should be able to be bred to any doe in our herd. I think he is going to stay small. I think I will be using him a lot for 2012 breedings. I haven't made it into the show ring with him yet. I will use him before he leaves, even though I don't really want to breed any more. I can't stand not to use him. Salsola's first kids have arrived. Two doelings and a buckling. There dams are Snapdragon and Salt Water Taffy.

Cowboy Man was our first home bred double champion thanks to Saul and Randy. He was a very correct, powerful, yet dairy buck. He had great length of body and a level, uphill topline. He had great depth of body and spring of rib. He was very wide throughout and stood on correct feet and legs. He had a long, level, wide rump and great angularity. Cowboy had two excellent Master Champions in his immediate pedigree, Tex and White Light'n. Cowboy is a combination of the excellent Goodwood and Willow Creek lines. His dam had several finished champion offspring besides Cowboy. His littermate sister, CHW Tex's Red Dirt Girl, is a PGCH.  There's also MCH Twin Creeks MB Stellaluna. Stella was sold back to her breeder, Holly Burke, and is now deceased. Check Stella out on our Reference Does page and Tex out on the Champions and Reference Bucks pages

There are 9 finished champions in this buck's immediate pedigree, and I absolutely love his dam. Ghost is a very wide, very deep bodied buck with tremendous spring of rib, very much a powerhouse buck. He has great angulation and dairy character and stands on correct feet and legs. Several breeders commented that he reminded them of Baywatch and there's not a better compliment than that in my opinion.
